Thanks for all the updates on Dad Tate’s progress. I understand that June has been doing a lot of the actual copy. Thanks to all.

I had an Idea which may help, and I would like to share it with all of you.

Naturally we are all concerned for Dad Tate’s health. In line with this, I would like to ask anyone who has some pictures of Dad Tate in daily life maybe with family or trimming the roses or such to post them on the web. Jimmy maybe you have some Pic’s, as you are always up to date on these things.

I have read that as we are all so concerned, that it would be easy out of FEAR of the possible outcome, to portray to the mind of GOD a negative image of what we really desire. If for example, (and please don’t be offended by the example) when the American Indians used to have a rain dance, we'd say that they were praying “for rain”, but I am told that they were “praying rain”. The subtle difference is that instead of thinking that their crops were drying up in the field and the animals were suffering due to the drought, that they would really be thinking of lush fields of green and mud between their toes, and water flowing off their tents or buildings, and all being well fed by the bountiful land and tall corn..

Please, consider this my input from a far country as an effort to help. Maybe an increased emphasis on the positive could help, by us visualizing a vibrant Dad Tate direct to the mind of GOD.

Bless all of you for your vigilance and hard work, I’m sure that it is not easy emotionally on all of you there on the job. Be assured that we are all with you in prayers on this side of the globe in Israel.

Saddest News - Melonie Schollmeyer

I don't even know how to write this. We are all so very sad. Melonie Schollmeyer, a vibrant woman, our relative and friend, became suddenly ill over the weekend and passed away. Details at this point are sketchy. **(The following is updated info as of noon Monday)** Melonie's children, Brittany and Robert, just had their Confirmation on Saturday evening. Melonie was not feeling well enough to attend, and stayed at home with flu-like symptoms. Afterward the children, Mary, and Cheryl all visited with Mel before going taking the children to spend the night with Tom. The next day Cheryl and Mary could not raise Melonie by telephone and so asked Tom to go see how she was doing. He did so (thankfully the children stayed in the car) and found Melonie had passed away in the bedroom. The Medical Examiner's Office is doing an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Edith Admitted to Hospital Again

Rick reports that his mom had been overdosed on Coumidin - an extremely dangerous anticoagulant drug - and also had an infection going on. Long story short, she is no longer at the physical rehab facility. She has been admitted again back into the hospital where both situations are hopefully being remedied, and she has the love and support of us all. Auntie Edith, hang in there, we all love you!!

Fast Update on Tom Tate

Dad did finally receive a tracheostomy yesterday, so that tube is gone out of his mouth and now sprouts from his chest. They tried to put the feeding tube down his nose but it keeps clogging up so today [or tomorrow] they will insert a port into his stomach... Later today or tomorrow we will start a search of local specialty hospitals that might have the criteria to care for Dad after his discharge from the ICU. I am headed for the hospital now, so please forgive the brevity of this post. Hugs to all, and thank you again for all your prayers. Susan P.S. I am printing out all the wonderful comments to the blog and also the emails I've received from so many, and taking them to Mom to read.
