Trading Spaces

While Tom/Emily and Loni/Dave will be enjoying the Opera next weekend, Susan/Jimmy and Tom/Jan will be trading spaces of a sort. Jimmy and I will be going to NC to visit (son)David for a few weeks. While we are gone, Tom/Jan will be leaving the cold mountains and coming down to Phoenix to enjoy a little warmth and turkey with the rest of the AZ family. They'll stay at our place while in the Valley of the Sun, but it's costly: they have to feed, water, and walk our dog while they are here!!

We really missed the two of you for Thanksgiving. While we had a wonderful time, I'm sure it would have been even more wonderful if you could have been here. Perhaps next year!

Bye, David!

David left for Korea this morning and I miss him already. He won't be gone that long, the job contract is just through May with a possible extension til December. And besides, he doesn't even live in the same state as me any more, so what's the big deal? I think it's a Mom-Radar thing. He's flying out of my Mom Radar, and I won't be able to track him any longer, at least not as easily, ha! *sigh* Seems we can't wait for our kids to grow up and then when they do, it's WHAMMO we miss them so much.

Here Comes the Bride... and Groom!

Congratulations Scott and Rachel! Today marks the beginning of a new life for Scott and Rachel Tate. They were married today in Jacksonville, North Carolina, in the presence of family and friends. No word yet as to how the nuptuals were carried out, but I am sure that will be coming soon! In the meantime, all good luck and congratulations to both Scott and Rachel; may you have many long and happy years together!
