Gloria (Moore) Roberts
I received the very sad news from Janice Weston that her sister Gloria just passed away. The Moore clan are very good friends and as such are quasi-family members, and our hearts break with them at the loss of Gloria. Here is an excerpt of a message from Janice, for those who would like to send condolences or flowers.
It is with a broken heart that I tell you we lost our big sister Gloria on Friday evening. She was recovering nicely from open heart surgery but evidently had a blood clot that hit her heart. It was very sudden and completely unexpected. We are all saddened and grieving, especially our mother. This is the second child she has lost in less than two years and at her age it takes a great toll. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Gloria's will requested cremation so there will be no burial but there will be a service for her on Thursday the 22nd at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at Truth Tabernacle, 1232 Bingham Road, Boonville MO 65233.
Ron, Mom and I will be flying to Missouri on Wednesday, and Joyce and Les will be driving from Colorado to meet us there. Diana lives in Boonville and will host the family. It will be nice for all of us to be together but wish it wasn't under such circumstances.
I apologize for not making personal calls or sending personal emails but right now that would be too difficult for the emotions. Please keep us in your prayers and we will look forward to less painful days ahead. Love to everyone.

Our hearts go out to you at this time. It was so wonderful to be with Gloria when she was here with you a couple of years ago, and I think she also really enjoyed her trip. May you be comforted among the mourners in Zion, and may you know no more sorrow.
