Chi-Town

While in Chicago for the Family Reunion (photos of the reunion dinner itself yet to come), I stayed with my cousin Joan (Rizzo) Miller. Thanks, Cuz, for the fantastic hospitality! Joan's son Jimmy and his wonderful family (wife Kim and daughter Victoria) took me out for a day in "Chi-Town" that I will never forget. We visited Millenium Park with its famous Bean sculpture, Navy Pier (and of course rode on the ferris wheel!), the John Hancock Tower and the Sears Tower, Buckingham Fountain... not to mention our visit to Taste of Chicago... mmmm!! Here are a few pics. Click on a photo to see it larger.
Victoria and me at Millenium Park, under the "Bean."

Finally found a place to park the rental...
hee hee - don't I WISH!

Jimmy took this awesome pic just before we boarded the ferris wheel on Navy Pier.
Family Pic: Jimmy, Jimmy, Joan, Kim, Me, and Victoria in the middle. The fellow on the far right slipped into the pic at the last moment and we all had a laugh that he just wanted to be part of the family!

Jimmy, awesome photographer that he is, took this great perspective of the John Hancock Tower. (P.S. Ignore the dates on the photos; the camera's computer had the wrong date.)

Sherry, I have one question for you. In the picture of you and your family in front of Buckingham Fountain...what part of the family is the guy just to your left????

Hey Bruce, that was my hot date for the weekend!! Didn't you notice him at the reunion dinner?? (P.S. Please don't tell my husband, he might get jealous!)

Hi Susan, All this time I thought he was the busboy!!!! Is he the one who located that awesome Countach you were pictured next to???? (P.S. I don't think your husband has anything to concern himself about).

Yeah Bruce, he loaned the Countach to me for the weekend, hee hee! Jimmy Miller took that photo of me; we had fun doing it. I actually stood about three feet in FRONT of the Lamborghini and leaned so that from the viewpoint of the camera it looked like I was leaning against the car itself. But since we were just outside the Bentley showroom, we were pretty sure the owner was close by and watching us, so we were careful not to actually touch the car.
